Today I visited Universal Studios Eco Fair in Los Angeles. I went to visit the new launching of a friends mobile store. Her name is Magda and she is from Hawaii like myself, and owns a boutique on Pico Blvd. in LA. Her store is called the Visionary Boutique and she carries products, clothing, jewelry and much more from visionary entrepreneurs that support the earth's natural resources. Magda carries Ho'ano Organic Body Care including Jen's Original 12 Herb Salve and Breast Caress Body and Massage Oil in her store. Her website is www.visionaryboutique.com.
This was my first time at Universal Studios. The main walkway to the Eco Fair was an interesting array of restaurants, kiosks, and entertainment. There was an eclectic crowd, mixed with families and people in nicely dressed outfits as if they were attending a party or some premiere for a new movie.
The Eco Fair hosted a variety of booths populated by interesting characters promoting environmental awareness and healthy products. I met a DJ who plays his records off of solar power, a man who single handedly is working to save orangutans, bubble gum with all natural ingredients and representatives from the Rainmaker Network.
The Rainmaker Network is an organization which connects progressive students with visionary organizations in an effort to build a better world. We exchanged ideas of opportunities to promote breast awareness through their events and affiliates. You can check out their site at www.therainmakernetwork.org
